After driving an Aston Martin Gt1, a Saleen GT1 and a Ferrari 430 GT2, Andrea decided to race (together with Ferdinando Geri) in the last race of the Italian GT Championship in Vallelunga with one of the Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 of the Mik Corse Team to help his brother Giacomo and Matteo Grassotto winning the Italian GT3 Championship.

Andrea and Giacomo dominated completely the week end from the free practice to the races.

Andrea was fastest in the first free practice session, Giacomo in the second one and in the qualifying Giacomo claimed, as planned, the pole position.

In both races the strategy of the Mik Corse team was perfect and Giacomo and Andrea got a 1-2 both times; this result guarentee to Giacomo and Matteo Grassotto the Italian GT3 title!

For Giacomo this is the 3rd Italian title in a row!
