The start of the european motorsport season is coming and Andrea Piccini is ready to return on track. The 2018 will see him behind the wheel of Kessel Racing’s Ferrari 488 GT3 in Michelin Le Mans Cup with Claudio Schiavoni. For the 39 year old driver from Sansepolcro, a welcome return to this team, with whom – always together with Claudio Schiavoni – he has already shared important results last year with a third place conquered in Portimao. Six rounds across Europe, 2 hours each, with a professional driver and a “Bronze” on each car. The test completed at “Paul Ricard” gave a positive result and the target for Andrea Piccini is very clear: “For Claudio Schiavoni will be the first full season in a championship of such high level, after two intense years in the Ferrari Challenge and some races in GT3. In the two days of testing at Paul Ricard we had the opportunity to work on the set-up of the car in all weather conditions and we found an excellent base from which to start during the first race. We will immediately aim to get on the podium to start collecting important points for the championship“.
