Blancpain GT Series circus return at Nurburgring after the Sprint Cup round held in July, this time with over 50 GT3 at the start for the last act of 2016 Endurance Series. After the Silver Cup class win, Michele Beretta will be back behind the wheel of the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 together Andrea Piccini and Luca Stolz: the Grasser Racing trio is still looking for their first podium of the season, missed in several occasions by unfortunate incidents, and on the Eifel hills they will try again to attack the top positions.

Michele Beretta: “Nurburgring will be the end of a season marked by ups and downs, where we miss the podium in different times like Spa 24 Hours and Le Castellet races. We did well in the Sprint race and we can start with a good base, the target is to finish in the Top 5 of course.

Andrea Piccini: “Nurburgring is a place where anything can happen, including changes of weather minute by minute, but our car has proved to be competitive even in the wet; Beretta and Stolz have won in Silver Cup here few months ago, this means that all of us as a good feeling with this circuit.

The program of the weekend at Nurburgring sees the free practice scheduled for Saturday, September 17 at 11.05 while the pre-qualifying starts at 16:15; Sunday 18 will se the cars on track at early morning for the qualify while the race will start at 14.45.
