GT1_Additional penalty for Andrea
As if the stop-and-go penalty, which caused his car to fall from second to fifth position, wasn’t enough, Andrea Piccini has been given an additional penalty for the incident between his Corvette Z06 and ex-F1 driver Enrique Bernoldi’s Maserati MC12, which occurred during the FIA GT1 World Championship race, on the Paul Ricard track at Le Castellet, on July 4th.

An exciting comeback in the final part of the race, only to reach a fifth position in the Lmp2 class, which does not reward the true merit of the Lola B09 Coupé of Andrea and Giacomo Piccini and Ferdinando Geri, in the second round of the Le Mans Series Championship, a 6-hour race which took place at the Spa Francorchamps Circuit in Belgium.

An unstoppable Andrea Piccini, partnered with a valid Mike Hezemans, “roars” once again in the first round of the 2010 FIA Gt1 World Championship, which took place on Saturday April 17th, at the Yas Marina Circuit, near Abu Dhabi, the same venue of the Formula 1 Championship race.
